2KR Systems Alerts, operated by 2KR Systems.

Program description

2KR Systems Alerts sends transactional text messages about devices monitored in the 2KR Systems application (app.2krsystems.com). One program covers every product on your company account:

• RoofBoss, for roof conditions such as snow or water accumulation.
• SnowSentry, for snow conditions such as snow pressure or snow depth.
• GeoBoss.
• Any other 2KR Systems monitoring device later added to the same account.

A message may also report device status, such as battery or communication, for any of those products.

You will receive a text when one of those devices reports a warning or danger condition and your alert settings allow that level. A message identifies the condition and the device. Warning and danger messages also include the measured value and the threshold. The same phone number and the same opt-in apply to all of these products. Messages are operational alerts only. They are not advertisements or promotions.

Examples of the kind of message you can expect:

WARNING: Snow depth threshold exceeded. Device: North Roof (RoofBoss). Value: 18, Threshold: 12

WARNING: Snow pressure threshold exceeded. Device: North Roof (SnowSentry). Value: 25, Threshold: 20

Who can opt in

The program is for users of a 2KR Systems company account. You opt in by entering your own mobile number, turning SMS Alerts on in Settings while alerts are enabled, and saving your settings. SMS Alerts are off by default. Saving a phone number alone does not opt you in. That opt-in covers RoofBoss, SnowSentry, GeoBoss, and any other 2KR Systems device on the account. Saving the number is optional. You can use the Service with email alerts and no text messages.

Consent to receive texts is not a condition of buying RoofBoss, SnowSentry, or GeoBoss hardware, and it is not required to keep your account.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies. Messages are sent only when a device alert occurs. You may receive no messages on a given day. You may receive several messages if more than one device alerts or a condition repeats. You will not receive a fixed daily or weekly text.

In Settings you can turn SMS Alerts off, turn all alerts off, or limit alerts to danger alerts only. Save your settings to apply these choices to text messages.

Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply. 2KR Systems does not charge you for the texts. Your wireless carrier may charge you according to your plan. Contact your wireless provider with questions about your text or data plan.

How to opt out

You can cancel 2KR Systems alert texts at any time. Opting out stops texts for every product in this program, including RoofBoss, SnowSentry, and GeoBoss.

Reply STOP to any 2KR Systems alert text. After you send STOP, we will send you a text confirming that you are unsubscribed. After that confirmation, you will not receive more texts from this program. Message and data rates may apply to the confirmation.

You can also opt out in the application by turning SMS Alerts off in Settings and saving. You can then remove your phone number on the Account page. Turning all alerts off in Settings also stops text alerts.

To receive texts again after opting out in the application, save your mobile number and enable SMS Alerts in Settings while alerts are enabled. If you previously replied STOP, you must also reply START or UNSTOP to the same toll-free number to resume delivery; changing application settings alone does not remove the carrier block.

Your mobile number and your consent to receive these texts are used only to operate this program. They are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing.

Eligibility

You must be the person who uses the mobile number you save, and you must be authorized to agree to these terms for that number. You must be at least 18 years old.

Changes

We may update these terms by posting a new version at this URL. The date at the top will change when we do. Continued participation after an update means you accept the updated terms. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP.
